Second part of the in-depth series: First place is Crichton Castle which was closed as so many sights these days. It's well worth the visit: a castle from the 14th century, much altered later. In this video you can't see much of the unique diamond shaped facade. Next is Melrose Abbey, one of the four border abbeys and probably the most beautiful ruin there is. Just look at this decorated style window tracery. A short glimpse of the next border abbey: Dryburgh, just flew there over the River Tweed, on the way to Jedburgh Abbey. It was founded like the other ones in the first half of the 12th century. The last three sights after a nice spot to fly fpv are Hermitage Castle from the second half of the 14th century, very ruined Loch Maben Castle and iconic triangular Caerlaverock Castle. Drones: DJI FPV (GoPro 10), Rekon 5 (GoPro 6), GepRC Cinelog 25 HD (GoPro 8), DJI Mini 2, additional footage by Osmo Pocket. Music: "Together We Stand" by scottholmesmusic.com
