Spectacular Purling Brook Falls, Australia

After a 5 day long rain event, it was the perfect time to capture Purling Brook Falls in full fury. Located in the lovely Springbrook National Park Queensland Australia, Purling Brook Falls is a popular tourist attraction in the Gold Coast Hinterland. As one of the tallest waterfalls in Queensland, Purling Brook Falls flows over a cliff for approximately 120 metres into the pools below. Situated in a world heritage site, these falls are surrounded by unique flora and wildlife. A brief hike on graduated steps brings you to a picnic area where you can relax and watch the amazing waterfall as it cascades into the depths below. The surrounding environment of Purling Brook Falls is almost unmatched for serenity. From the lookout above the falls, you can appreciate the plant life that thrives in this rain forest. Make sure you bring your camera to capture some of the beautiful scenery around here, as well as the falls themselves.
