Spectacular Purling Brook Falls, Australia

New contributor Oz Straya Panoramas shows off the impressive capabilities of the Autel Evo 2 drone in this impressive aerial video from a famous waterfall in Australia.  The waterfall is called Purling Brook Falls, which is a horsetail-type waterfall in the eastern state of Queensland.  It's located within the Gondwana Rainforests, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a short distance inland from Gold Coast.  Depending on the season and rainfall patterns, the falls has a single drop of about 100 meters (around 330 ft.).

After a 5 day long rain event, it was the perfect time to capture Purling Brook Falls in full fury. Located in the lovely Springbrook National Park Queensland Australia, Purling Brook Falls is a popular tourist attraction in the Gold Coast Hinterland. As one of the tallest waterfalls in Queensland, Purling Brook Falls flows over a cliff for approximately 120 metres into the pools below. Situated in a world heritage site, these falls are surrounded by unique flora and wildlife. A brief hike on graduated steps brings you to a picnic area where you can relax and watch the amazing waterfall as it cascades into the depths below. The surrounding environment of Purling Brook Falls is almost unmatched for serenity. From the lookout above the falls, you can appreciate the plant life that thrives in this rain forest. Make sure you bring your camera to capture some of the beautiful scenery around here, as well as the falls themselves. A 4km walk around the Purling Brook Falls Circuit takes most people approximately 2 hours to complete. First scene was shot from mobile phone in low resolution.
