Stāmeriena Palace - The Pearl of European Romanticism!

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

AirVuz contributor llmars brings us this video of a famous 19th century palace in the Baltic republic of Latvia.  It's called Stāmeriena Palace, and it's located in the municipality of Gulbene in north-central part of the country.  Built in the 1830's and 1840's, it's considered one of the finest examples of Renaissance Revival architecture in the Baltic region.  The palace came under state (USSR) control after World War II, reverting to private ownership in the 1990's after Latvia regained its independence.
