Walking the ¨Morenas Coloradas" A Rock Glacier in Vallecitos, Mendoza, Argentina

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

AirVuz contributor Gistavo Quiroga brings us this fantastic drone video from an unusual stone formation in the Andes Mountains called a rock glacier.  Rock glaciers are formed as rock-carrying glaciers recede and leave behind vast trails of debris which they had trapped and carried during their growth phases.  This particular formation is called the Morenas Colorades and it's located near Vallecitos in the northwestern state of Mendoza, in the eastern foothills of the great Andes Mountains chain.
