Wild Tuscany

T.E.S.T. S...

Former DVOW Finalist T.E.S.T Srls brings us this excellent travel video from the Italian region of Tuscany.  Created with a combination of drone and ground camera footage, the video will take you over and through some villages in Grosetto, the southernmost of the ten Tuscan provinces.  The video opens with shots of Pitigliano, known as "Little Jerusalem" due to its long-settled Jewish community.  Next it's on to the ancient hill town of Sorano, which overlooks the Lente River.  Other featured locations include Manciano, Sovana, and more.

Epic Dolomites

In this video, which was a Drone Video of the Week Finalist pick in April of 2021, top AirVuz contributor and pilot Ericbartolo will take you on an aerial tour of Italy's spectacular Dolomite Mountains.  The video opens with one of Italy's most iconic sites, Lake Braies (Pragser Wildsee), a small but stunning mountain lake in South Tyrol.  Part of the Southern Limestone Alps, the mountain chain runs across several provinces of northeastern Italy and are bounded by the Adige River and the Piave, Puster, and Sugana Valleys.

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist and Drone Video Award Nominee scientik brings us this spectacular drone video from the magical North Atlantic island nation of Iceland.  Shot with a combination of cameras, including those mounted to the DJI Mavic Pro 2, Phantom 4, and new FPV drone, the video was filmed over the course of two trips to Iceland, one of which was undertaken as part of a Czech TV project.   Stunningly beautiful, this video was picked as the Winner of the Drone Video of the Week contest in April, 2021.

Top AirVuz contributor and pilot snorrithor does it again with this fantastic drone video of a volcanic eruption on the North Atlantic island of Iceland.  Following a series of earthquakes in late 2020 and early 2021, Geldingadalir began erupting on March 21.  The subject of the video is a second eruption, which began on April 5th when a fissure about 1.5 km (roughly a mile) from the original eruption opened up and began spewing hot lava.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in April, 2021.

My 2020 Trips in Iran

Top AirVuz contributor and pilot rezarafizadeh secured his second Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot with this excellent 2020 drone reel from his native Iran.  For viewers who associate this giant Middle Eastern country only with arid desert, this video will come as a big surprise.  The video was filmed in Iran's northern provinces, which run through the mountains ringing the southern Caspian Sea and are seemingly a world apart - these are lands of forested mountains, with near-rainforest climatic conditions.
