2022 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 27

Explore the beauty of Slovenia in the Autumn in this fantastic drone video by former DVOW Winner Dronographer.  The video opens with shots near the Austrian border, before heading to the famous Herzerlstraße, a heart-shaped street in one of the country's vineyards.  Then it's on to the Sveti Tomaž, an iconic church in the mountainous Upper Carniola region.  From there you'll head to the town of Jamnik, a bit  north of Sveti Tomaž.  The last stop is the gorgeous Lake Bled, a little further north, one of Slovenia's most recognized spots.

For a second upload to AirVuz, AirVuz contributor SeaBasss brings us this excellent travel video from the Southeast European country of Croatia. Shot largely with a first person view (FPV) drone, the video was filmed over a three day trip to this increasingly popular tourist destination.  Much of the footage is from the county's long Adriatic Sea coastline, with some additional shots from the Croatian interior.  This video was picked by the AirVuz editorial staff for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July of 2022.    

Top Australian drone pilot Ruben Caser brings us this fantastic demo reel showing the range of his aerial videography services.  The reel features a mix of footage from heavy lift and first person view (FPV) drones, captured in the course of numerous engagements including some very high end television commercial work.  Highlights include some epic "gap" shots flying through some very tight spaces, action sports, FPV coastal cruises, and more.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July of 2022.

Drink in these stunning aerial views of Réunion Island in the Indian Ocean, compliments of contributor VolcaDrone Productions.  Located about 950 km (around 600 mi.) east of the large island of Madagascar, Réunion is an overseas department of France.  Dominated by two volcanoes - the active Piton de la Fournaise in the east and the inactive Piton des Neiges in the center - the island has a land area of about 1k square mi. (around 2.5k square km) and a full-time resident population of around 868k.  

Take in these stunning drone views of the Austrian Alps, compliments of top AirVuz contributor and former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Akos Kovacs.  The Austrian Alps are sometimes referred to as the Central Eastern Alps and the Austrian Central Alps.  While they are mainly located in the western part of Austria, they also cover portions of neighboring Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Italy, and Slovenia.  Their highest peak is the Grossglockner, which has a summit elevation of about 12.5k ft. above sea level or around 3.8k m.
