6th Annual New York City Drone Film Festival - X Factor

Imagination + flying cameras = the best recipe for creating prime showpieces of originality.  Playing off the variety of perspectives, the agility of a camera with wings, unique storylines, and resourceful editing, the drone-enthusiast community has created a new art medium with plenty of creative juices to keep the engine running.  The sources for inspiration are limitless too, from the powerful narrative of one’s life story, to the playful charm of a character’s real-world adventure, the drone lens puts a giant multiplier on the whole idea that “a picture tells a thousand words.”  The impetus behind the nominated videos in the X-Facotr category is as individualistic as the footage itself, and the entertainment value is unmatched.
