When a friend asked me to video record the house of his 95 year old aunt who recently passed away prior to selling it and dispersing its contents among family members, I cordially volunteered.  I’d always admired the historic-looking structure in the middle of more modern buildings and became excited about the opportunity when my friend told me the house had been built in the 1800s.  My plan was to capture exterior aerial footage with my DJI Mini 3 Pro and use regular video equipment inside.  However, when I began the interior photography a novel (challenging) idea struck me and I decided to see if I could film everything using the drone.  Although rooms and doorways were quite small I managed to navigate throughout the house without crashing into walls, furniture, or myself while having obstacle avoidance turned off.  My friend and I were both pleased with the results and I learned some valuable flight lessons about the maneuverability of the drone in tight spaces.
