A Flight above bloody middle age History

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Here's an aerial view of a famous castle in Southern France, compliments of Uwe3005.  It's called Château de Quéribus, and it's located in the Aude Department.  The castle is considered one of the Five Sons of Carcassone, a line of castle-fortresses which once sat on the French-Spanish frontier in the days before the border moved to the Pyrenees crest.  Before that, it was closely associated with the Cathars, a breakaway religious movement which was eventually crushed by the emerging nation-state of France.
