Viveiro is like an ancient whisper between mountains and sea. This seaside town in the Mariña Lucense region has the air of a place that has seen centuries pass without losing its essence. Strolling through its historic center is like leafing through a book of stone and wood, with narrow streets that open onto quiet squares, churches steeped in history, and balconies that seem to gaze nostalgically at the Cantabrian Sea. The Landro River runs through the city as if caressing it, and the bridges that span it connect not only shores, but eras.

The surroundings of Viveiro are a gift for the senses. There are beaches hidden among cliffs, forests that smell of eucalyptus, and trails that invite you to wander leisurely. The coast becomes wild and serene at the same time, and every corner has something to tell: from Xove to Bares, the landscape transforms into a mosaic of greens and blues.

And then there's the Fuciño do Porco. Although its official name is Punta Socastro, everyone knows it for its peculiar shape, reminiscent of a pig's snout. It's a rugged cape traversed by wooden walkways suspended over the sea, as if walking along the edge of a dream. The views from there are ones that will stay with you: the Cantabrian Sea roaring below, the wind playing with your hair, and the seemingly endless horizon. Access begins near the Fuciño do Porco Municipal Parking, open 24 hours a day, from where the experience begins.

It's a place you don't visit, you experience it. And when you do, something in you stays there, staring out to sea.
