Join us on this exciting drone flight as we tour the A Peneda and Arnoia hydroelectric plants, as well as the impressive waterfall hidden between them.     * A Peneda Hydroelectric Power Plant:     * Located at the confluence of the municipalities of Gomesende, Cartelle and Arnoia, this plant, managed by Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables, has an installed capacity of 10 MW. Its two vertical-axis Kaplan-type Voith turbines take advantage of the waterfall provided by the nearby waterfall.     * The ruins of the old power plant, which date back to the mid-20th century, lie abandoned and covered by weeds. Although their condition is deplorable, they still retain a mysterious charm that invites us to explore from the outside.     * Arnoia Hydroelectric Power Plant:     * Less than 1 km away from A Peneda, this plant also generates 10 MW. Its three Voith turbines, of the Francis type with vertical axis, take advantage of the power of the river. Like its companion, it was built in the 21st century. Upstream we can also find the old power plant building, now in a total state of abandonment.     * The new facilities, with concrete dams, diversion canals and pressure tunnels, contrast with the ancient ruins located nearby.     * Fervenza do Arnoia:     * Just a few meters from the power plants, the Arnoia River waterfall captivates us with its waterfall. The river makes its way through large forests, forming a deep canyon.
