Long flight around the Stanhope area including Stanhopeburn mine which was originally opened to mine lead (1830 - 1875), and later fluorite. Changing ownership numerous times, It was closed in 1982. Also showing the quarry area leading into the mine, like many old quarries it's a scar that nature has made beautiful again.
