Afternoon on the Snowy Bolognese Appenine Mountains

While Italy's Appenine Mountains may not be the tallest in the country, their serene beauty certainly puts them on an equal footing with ranges to their north.  The Appenines actually consists of several chains of related mountains which run down the length of Italy to its "boot".  The northernmost chain runs in a northwest-to-southeast axis, crossing through a number of provinces.  In this video from Marco Miele, you'll get a bird's eye view of the snow-covered Appenines in the province of Bologna.
