Welcome to the "World of Drones" you weekly news resource on all things drone-related. 

The race to everyday drone deliveries continues. Retail giant, Walmart, is beginning their drone delivery pilot program this summer along the Arkansas and Missouri border. The retailer partnered with drone provider Zipline International to operate out of its Pea Ridge store. A representative from Walmart says the Zipline drone could service a 50-mile radius and make a delivery to customers in under an hour. They hope to make 15 deliveries a day during the pilot program.

Speaking of drone deliveries…Restaurant chain Pizza Hut will start drone delivery trials this summer in Israel. Pizza Hut plans to use mini-aircrafts to deliver batches of orders to delivery drivers who will then bring the food to the customers’ homes. Software company, Dragontail System, will manage the drone trial which will allow the restaurant to reach 7000 more households than usual.

We see a lot of drone videos from Italy on AirVuz, but rarely of Verona. Famous for being the setting of Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet,” this video by andyelloco gives us an incredible aerial tour with stops at the Verona Arena and Stone Bridge.

Former ‘Drone Video of the Week’ and ‘Drone Video of the Month’ winner panvelvet strikes again. This time with a stunning drone video of a light and laser show in Wuhan, China, just months before it became the first city with a Covid-19 outbreak.

The Art of Flight III - Seven Roads Media

The team behind Seven Roads Media brings us their third installment of The Art of Flight. Beautifully narrated and featuring shots from California and Hawaii this is a compilation of their best aerial footage from 2020. 

Norway - The Land of Vikings - Oculus Films 

Set to a perfect soundtrack, two-time ‘Drone Video of the Week’ finalist oculusfilms explored the land of the Vikings aka Norway and part of Finland in this beautiful 4K cinematic travel film.

West Sussex (DJI Mavic Air2) - kerrymatthew

This is the first upload to AirVuz by drone pilot kerrymatthew who purchased a DJI Mavic Air 2 during the first lockdown last year. She beautifully captures the most scenic areas of West Sussex in England.
