Autumn in Apuseni Mountains, Romania
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Romania's Apuseni Mountains are a strange lot. Unlike other sections of the Carpathian Mountain chain which help to define the Transylvania region, the Apuseni's (sometimes called the Western Carpathians) aren't arranged as a imposing range which prohibits movement between regions. Rather, they are peaks of lower altitude (the highest, Mt. Cucurbăta Mare, has an altitude of 1.8k meters or just over 6k ft.) with many low passes. Check them out from an aerial perspective in this drone video by Andreea Cîra.
