Badshahi Mosque

Here's an aerial view of one of the most iconic sights of Pakistan, compliments of contributor Cameron Hughes.  It's the Badsahi Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan's second-largest city and cultural capital.  The mosque was built in the late 17th century, during the height of the Mughal Empire.  It was the largest and most recent in a series of mosques created during that empire's reign, which lasted for over three centuries.  Today, it's the second largest mosque in the country, which is home to over 200 million Muslims.
