Bando Railway Bridge - Matty Flip

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Spending a day out on the road just to find the perfect freestyle spot is the kind of commitment it takes to create a video like this. Shot in a lush, deciduous forest filled with deep green colors, AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Dragon FPV has found an abandoned, former railway bridge. The bando spot is unique in its location and structure - we often don’t see bando bridges with these types of views. His inspiration, MattyStuntz and his Matty Flip, can be seen throughout the piece.

After a near by 4 hours drive, some hike through the forest, I stood before this awesome bando bridge. I had to climb to the top by some tiny steps full with little stones beside the bridge. Not easy, and it was three times very close falling all the way down to the start :D ... it had 34°C in the shade ... my head wasn't really open to fly and my concentration not on the place ;) ... unfortunately I had some issues with the VTX on one kwad, so I lost the image for some seconds during a flight. I was able to bring it back, but the trust in the system was gone, as I though it has something to do with the heat. Anyway, I tried to do my best on this great spot :) ... at the end I wasn't able to reach the steps as the little gravery was to slippery. I decided to follow the rails. I had to walk to a 118 m deep black tunnel ... very scary ;P ... after that I was able to climb down through some trees ... also not easy, I hit several times my ass on the ground XD ... after some hike through the forest again I reached the starting point ... than I drove 3,5 hours back to my home ... what a great adventure :D ... have fun :) Flight was on July 25th, 2019
