Welcome to "Bando Land". It is literally abandoned Military Land, and there is plenty of it! After having our old flying spot fenced up, we migrated elsewhere, and hit the jackpot! Plenty of spots to go flying, and air (or ground) to cover!
I managed to burn through all 8 packs I have at this location on Dal T5045 Indestructible. First few packs were spent trying to adjust the feel, and after getting my Lizard95, I have a whole different understanding of "locked in", as that thing flys like on a rail in comparison. So I upped my I's and D's, and you'll notice that the footage gets better (if you notice at all) as the sun sets. Next step is to mess with the notch filter, and possibly see if I can dial it in tighter. I also want to try a higher pitch blade prop to see how these 2300kv motors do with them (since the Lizard95 "Stitch" is a rocket). Though this bird is heavy (around 770g with the GoPro in a Diving Case).
This is also my 6 month anniversary of picking up a transmitter, so expect a crashpilation soon. =D
I can honestly thank the honing of my skills to various simulators, such as DRL, Liftoff, and Velocidrone to make it to this point. I can't always fly, nor afford the ability to repair my drone if that was the case, so sneaking in 30 minutes of stick time here and there can really add up.
