It would be hard to overstate the importance of the Monserrate Mountain to the Colombian capital city of Bogotá. Located south of the city center, the mountain has a peak elevation of 3.15k meters (about 10.35k ft.) above sea level, roughly 500 meters (around 1.65k ft.) above the city's base elevation. Virtually the entire city is visible from the peak on clear days. Contributor Sky Zoom created this beautiful aerial view of Monserrate, which is topped by the magnificent Fallen Lord Church.
