Busy Bayou Petit Galliou

I am currently in Houma Louisiana as part of the clean up and build back efforts from hurricane Ida. I had heard of a town about 30 minutes south of here that was pretty badly hit. A small fishing town called Chauvin that is along the bayou Petit Gaillou. As I drove in, you can see all the devastation Ida had done to these small bayou towns. boats, homes, campers even an excavator found its way into the bayou. I did see some clean up efforts along the bayou. There were these retrofitted barges with grapplers and cranes lifting debris along the banks while trawlers trawled around he clean up effort.
