California Travels: Catalina Island

24 hours in Avalon, Catalina Island. Charming, quaint, colorful and all around stunning are all Catalina Island attributes. Located only an hour away from Long Beach via ferry, this adorable little town is a must see. This trip was a little impromptu so with no last minute dog sitter we decided to bring bear along (surprisingly that’s totally cool with the ferry!). We took ourselves on a little tour around the island via golf cart and enjoyed a perfect summer day at Descanso Beach Club. Hope you enjoy the scenery as much as we did!
