Cardiff by the Sea

Check out this excellent drone video of a Southern California beach community called Cardiff-by-the-Sea, compliments of contributor ayman803.  It's part of the city of Encinitas, in northern San Diego County.  Located about a half hour drive north of downtown San Diego, it was developed beginning in the early 1900's by a Boston developer whose Welsh wife persuaded him to name it after the seaside town in Wales.  Cardiff-by-the-Sea is home to some of the top surfing spots in the so-called North County.
