Castel Roncolo (Italy)
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this drone video of a well-known mountain castle in northern Italy, compliments of contributor Macgiver. It's called Runkelstein Castle (Castel Roncolo), and it's in the commune of Ritten in South Tyrol. The structure took most of its modern form in the 14th century, when a merchant family gained control of what was then a badly damaged fortification. It underwent a series of ownership changes and fell into disrepair, before being "rediscovered" during the early 19th century Romanticists and later restored.
