Castle Acre Castle and Priory - and others

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : AirVuz contributor and pilot seb-depp brings us this excellent captioned aerial tour of some important spots in the UK's East Anglia region. The first stop is Baconsthorpe Castle, an English Heritage manor in North Norfolk. The next stop is North Elham Chapel, originally a Norman church which was converted into a fortified manor house in the 14th century. Then it's on to Castle Acre, a well-preserved town in central Norfolk. Other locations include Grime’s Graves, Thetford Priory, Warren Lodge, Weeting Castle, Denny Abbey, and more.

The second part of my series of East Anglia, UK. We start with Baconthorpe Castle, a nice and formerly flashy country seat with a moat and water, continue to North Elmham Chapel, Castle Acre Castle and Priory. Next day we fly over Grime’s Graves (4.000 year old flint mines - no graves at all), see Thetford Priory and Warren Lodge, Weeting Castle, Denny Abbey and Farm Museum, Isleham Priory Church, Bury St. Edmund’s Abbey, tiny St. Olave’s Priory and Burgh Castle. The last shots are of the coast at Great Yarmouth and the rather boring Caister Roman Fort.
