Cerro Gordo Ghost Town

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Contributor hakisair combined drone and ground camera footage to create this video of a "ghost town" called Cerro Gordo in Southern California.  It's an old mining town in the Owens Valley, northeast of Los Angeles.  The mines around the town produced silver, lead, and zinc from the mid-1800's before being shut down in the 1950's.  The town, located a short distance from Death Valley, was recently sold to a group of investors for about $1.4 million according to a report from CNBC.
