City of Monasteries " MACKA" ; (Sümela , Kuştul and Vazelon Monastery )
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Maçka is a district of Turkey's Trabzon Province in its Black Sea region. It is best known for its three Greek Orthodox monasteries. In this drone video by enghasanali, you will get aerial views of the three landmarks: Sumela, Kustul, and Vazalon. Sumela is the most recognizable; built into the side of one of the Pontic Mountains, it's one of the most well-known spots in northern Turkey. The other two monasteries are not yet restored and are much harder to access, although there are plans in the works to restore them as well.

Here is Maçka district of Trabzon Turkey. It has an amazing nature and historical monasteries SUMELA , KUSTUL and VAZELON. They are all Greek Orthodox Monasteries built in different mountains in Trabzon, one of the provinces of Turkey's Black Sea region. Vazelon Monastery is the first built one.Rumour has it that they have relations between them and Sumela and Kustul Monasteries are connected to Vazolon Monastery which is management part is located here Sümela Monastery is the popular and well known one and it is the famous symbol of the city. Kustul and Vazelon Monastery haven't restorated yet. They are planning to be restored soon. Both Kustul and Vazelon has no road near them so you have to go by walk but this makes them mysterious and charming for me.
