Mar Saba Greek Orthodox Monastery
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Mar Saba is an important Eastern Orthodox monastery in Israel. It's located in a valley in the Judean Desert, roughly halfway between Jerusalem and the Dead Sea. Founded in the late 5th century AD, it's one of the oldest continuously-inhabited monastery complexes in the world. Mar Saba played an important role in developing the Eastern Orthodox liturgy, which spread to Constantinople (now Istanbul) and later to other parts of the Eastern Orthodox world. See it from above in this fantastic drone video by Make it Visual.
