🍂 This is the iconic old church tower of Curon, standing in Lake Resia in South Tyrol during autumn. The entire village was flooded in 1950 to create a hydroelectric reservoir, and the tower is the only part that remains above the water. According to local legend, when the lake freezes in winter, you can still hear the bells ringing… even though they were removed before the flooding. 🔔✨
