🎥 Nighttime Hyperlapse in Rome EUR with the DJI Mini 5 Pro 🚁

I just finished filming a hyperlapse at night in Rome’s EUR district using the new DJI Mini 5 Pro

and honestly, I’m blown away by the results.

I set up a waypoint flight and shot RAW photos with ISO 100, white balance at 5000K, and auto shutter speed.

Since it was nighttime, many of the shots had up to a one-second exposure, which created these beautiful light trails from passing cars.

The motion blur adds such a dynamic, cinematic feel

it’s like the city came alive in slow motion.

One of the things I love most is being able to rotate the camera precisely at each waypoint.

It gives the footage a smooth, intentional flow that’s perfect for this kind of visual storytelling.

And flying a C0-class drone in an urban environment like this?

It gives me way more freedom and peace of mind.

Rome at night has a magic of its own, and capturing it this way felt like painting with light.
