DRONEAVENTURA - PEDRA DA GAVEA - TIJUCA NATIONAL PARK

Some time ago I wanted to produce a new video of Pedra da Gávea with the aerial filming, because the first video (with another drone I had) had not been so satisfactory, in view of the limitation of the images that were not stable.

On the first week of May I invited my friends Paulinho and Thiago to follow the Pedra da Gávea trail, up Carrasqueira and down the Pico dos Quatro trail. The summit attack was carried out on May 10, 2016.

The day was unstable. When we arrived in Carrasqueira, we saw many gusts of wind, making us wait for a possible improvement. But this did not happen.

I then decided to risk climbing and capturing the images. The strong gusts of wind slightly affected the filming in the initial stretch of Carrasqueira. However, it did not stop the filming.

When we reached the summit we decided to go directly to the Emperor's Head and then descend to the Cave of the Ear. When we arrived at the Head, the weather changed abruptly and closed everything, causing that I aborted the filming, once the clouds were loaded and with that the equipment was getting wet. We went down the Peak of the Four and left.

Not satisfied, I returned on May 28 with Priscila, Thiago and Amanda to finish filming the circuit. This time it was all right.

The weather was not 100% but that did not stop us from capturing all the stretches of the Pedra da Gávea trail. I set up a different logistics, starting the ascent of Pico dos Quatro, passing through the Grotto of the Ear, Head of the Emperor and ending the descent through Carrasqueira. It was a very pleasant day!

Há algum tempo queria produzir um novo vídeo da Pedra da Gávea com as filmagens aéreas, pois o primeiro vídeo (com um outro drone que eu tinha) não havia ficado tão satisfatório, tendo em vista a limitação das imagens que não eram estáveis.

Na primeira semana de maio convidei os amigos Paulinho e Thiago para fazermos a trilha da Pedra da Gávea, subindo pela Carrasqueira e descendo pela trilha do Pico dos Quatro. O ataque ao cume foi realizado no dia 10 de maio de 2016.

O dia estava instável. Ao chegarmos na Carrasqueira, presenciamos muitas rajadas de vento, fazendo com que ficássemos aguardando uma possível melhora. Porém, isto não aconteceu.

Decidi então arriscar a subida e realizar a captação das imagens. As fortes rajadas de vento prejudicaram um pouco a filmagem no trecho inicial da Carrasqueira. Porém, não impediu a filmagem.

Ao chegarmos no cume decidimos seguir diretamente para a Cabeça do Imperador para então depois descermos até a Gruta do Ouvido. Ao chegarmos na Cabeça, o tempo mudou bruscamente e fechou tudo, fazendo com que eu abortasse as filmagens, uma vez que as nuvens estavam carregadas e com isso o equipamento estava ficando molhado. Descemos pelo Pico dos Quatro e fomos embora.

Não satisfeito, retornei no dia 28 de maio com a Priscila, Thiago e Amanda para então concluir as filmagens do circuito. Dessa vez deu tudo certo.

O tempo não estava 100% mas isso não impediu de captar todos os trechos da trilha da Pedra da Gávea. Montei uma logística diferente, começando a subida pelo Pico dos Quatro, passando pela Gruta do Ouvido, Cabeça do Imperador e finalizando a descida pela Carrasqueira. Foi um dia muito agradável!
