Dog sledding in the North Pole

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Taking us along to see a dog sled team out for a run is pilot Enrico Pescantini. He’s out in the frozen tundra that is Svalbard, Norway. Svalbard is an archipelago that sits between mainland Norway and the North Pole, making it one of the world’s northernmost inhabited areas (it is home to just under 3,000 people). You may see polar bears, Svalbard reindeer, and Arctic foxes scattered across the terrain, but in today’s case just two teams of sled dogs and their mushers pop out against the glacial terrain.
