Top AirVuz contributor seb-depp earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this outstanding drone video of Scotland's Callanish Callanish Standing Stones, an important Neolithic ruins site in the Scottish Highlands. Consisting of a circle of stones arrayed around a single large stone, they are situated on the western coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, a string of islands off of Scotland's northwestern coast. The circle, which has made numerous appearances in film, TV, and literature, is believed to date to 2600-2900 BC.

Easily the best man-made sight on the Western Isles - maybe even the whole of Scotland. These stones were erected between 2900 and 2600 BC and later added to. We went there three times - in the afternoon, at sunset (there were a few ladies gathering) and at sunrise. A local name for the stones is "false men" - giants who refused to convert to Christianity and turned to stone - okay.
There are several more monuments in the vicinity - at the end you get a small glimpse of at Calanais II and III.
