My youtube channel:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRhF1Pzt8mM_uXXgKn-ni-Q Prutaš (2393 m) looks very attractive. Its vertical rods that descend like a waterfall through the south side of Durmitor keep from oblivion the legend of the young Todor, his Rose, the cruelty of fairies and the revenge of shepherds. At the foot of Prutash is the Todor Valley. They say that it was named after the handsome young man Todor, who was the pride of this area. He had a lovely Rose, a good girl who returned his love. At that time, as in all high and divinely beautiful places, fairies lived on Prutaš. And they admired Todor, and envied Ruzica. He once invited him to the mountain in his circle, on the condition that he did not carry any weapons with him. But Todor forgot to leave the knife, which he always carried as a shepherd. He came to the fairies and enjoyed their games for a long time. And then the fairies saw his knife. In anger, they lifted him to the clouds and let him down the cliffs of Durmitor. They say that Todor fell with his chest and fell off a part of the mountain that has since been named Gruda and is located near Prutash. There was mourning for Todor. Ruzica went to a nearby mountain in pain. She never returned, and she still bears her name today. They say that the stones were whistling with pain at that time, which is why the spring in Todorovo dol took the name Pištet (Bjelinovac). And the shepherds… they wanted to take revenge on the fairies. They made long and strong rods and leaned them against the mountain. The fairies tied their hair while they were sleeping, and when they woke up, they pulled each other's hair out. Since then, he has never seen them again, and they say that the yellow grass on the meadows of Durmitor is scattered fairy hair. Over time, the rods merged with the rocks, and the mountain was named Prutaš after them.
