Dutch Winter
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Top AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Active Perspective created this amazing winertime aerial video of the largest lake in the Netherlands. It's called the IJsselmeer, and it's actually only been a lake since the 1930's, when the North Sea inlet known as the Zuiderzee was closed off with a dyke due to ongoing flood risks. Fed by the IJssel (a Rhine River distributary), the IJsselmeer is now a freshwater reservoir. Given the climate, the lake partially freezes in winter, as you'll see in the video.

Last winter a filmed a cool ice phenomenon in the biggest lake (IJsselmeer) in the Netherlands. It's getting warmer and all the ice sheets at the lake are starting to shove. Made a short drone film about it.
