Finally to Sinkyone! This is the 5th in the Pacific Northwest series. (Not all of which are on AirVuz.) Years ago, driving down a collapsing dirt road to this park was a frightening experience. Now the road is washed out from winter storms and no one goes down. But with no other destination in mind, I made the loong hike down. The park was empty! Clearly this had been a ranch long ago, but it has been reverting to wilderness under the care of the state parks. Not quite the ends of the earth, but the edge. Passed a couple of suspicious elk then stumbled upon two rangers. I surprised them because no one visits. Then they surprised me by encouraging me to fly the drone. Later, down by the beach, I was startled again to meet two backpackers on their third day down this wild desolate coast. Their enthusiasm for meeting nature on its own terms was infectious. So this video is dedicated to them. After one very enjoyable day, it was back to the long long hike up the mountain and though I did reach the car before dark, I avoided civilization until noon the next day. Filmed with: - Mavic Pro 4K 30fps. Edited With: - iMovie. Music: - Tash Sultana - Jungle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZvP7PwUAwM I encourage people to watch Tash Sultana on NPR Tiny Desk.
