Flying Down to African Painter to Land Full Story
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Contributor and drone pilot Dice Travels created this aerial video of a historic town on Tanzania's Indian Ocean coastline in East Africa. It's called Bagamoya, and it's part of the Pwani region which covers the mid-section of the coastline. Bagamoya dates to the 18th century, although it was founded on the ruins of a city which dated to the Antiquity. It became the capital of Germany East Africa in the 19th century, territory which was relinquished by Germany during the course of the First World War.

Bagamoyo was once the capital of German East Africa, before it was moved to Dar el Salam. Now, it's a sleepy little town full of beautiful crumbling buildings, a fish market and a budding art community. Stay tuned for more!
