Flying over Rakhiot Glacier

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Check out this fantastic drone video of a famous glacier in the Himalaya Mountains of northern Pakistan, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot be_mesmerized. Rakhiot Glacier lies below the peak of the same name, which rises to a summit elevation of 23.2k ft. or around 7.1k m. The glacier is about 8.5 mi long (around 14 km) and covers an area of around 12 square mi. (about 32 square km). The area is part of Gilgit-Baltistan, formerly known as the Northern Areas, which in turn is part of the larger region of Kashmir.
