In this video I visit the Richmond Mine, a fascinating site in the Ruby Hill district of central Nevada. (Note: This was previously posted as the "Ruby Hill Mystery Mine". Recently I was able to identify the mine and learn some of its history, thanks to a newly-published book. The book is "The Eureka & Palisade - Biggest Little Railroad In The World," by Gregory J. Maxwell. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in old-time, narrow gauge railroads, Nevada history, or the mines and mills of Eureka and Ruby Hill.) This is the tenth in a series of videos from my 2019 trip, where I explored old mines, mining camps, ghost towns and other historic sites in Nevada and the Mojave desert.
