Golden Hour Supserf On The Volga River
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this beautiful drone video of some stand-up paddleboarding plying the calm waters of Russia's Volga River, compliments of Dronemedia.me. Europe's longest river, the Volga runs entirely on Russian territory. It's importance to the history and culture of Russia would be hard to overstate - over half of the country's largest cities lie on the banks of the Volga or its many tributaries. Frozen (or partly frozen) in winter, during the long summer days it becomes an aquatic paradise.

The Volga (/ˈvɒlɡə, ˈvoʊlɡə/; Russian: Во́лга, IPA: [ˈvoɫɡə] (About this soundlisten)) is the longest river in Europe with a catchment area of 1,350,000 square kilometres. It is also Europe's largest river in terms of discharge and drainage basin. The river flows through central Russia and into the Caspian Sea, and is widely regarded as the national river of Russia, being an important river for both Slavs and Turks.
