AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Top AirVuz contributor and pilot Iskenderfilm used a drone to bring us this aerial view of an important 19th century mosque in Istanbul, Turkey.  The Grand Imperial Mosque of Sultan Abdülmecid (the  Büyük Mecidiye Camii) was built on the orders of the Ottoman ruler Abdulmejid I and completed in 1856, on the site of an earlier mosque which was destroyed in an uprising .  The mosque is situated in the Ortaköy neighborhood on the Bosphorus Strait, one of the most visited areas of the bustling city.
