Grottoes of Catullus

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Top contributor and pilot Enrico Pescantini created this stunning drone video of some important Roman ruins in northern Italy.  The Grottoes of Catullus are the remains of a Roman villa which was located on Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy.  The ruins are situated at the tip of the Sirmione Peninsula at the southern end of the lake, which is part of the region of Lombardy.  The video does full justice to the stunning natural beauty of the lake and the 2,000+ year old ruins from the ancient civilization.
