Aloha, Where we Share the Beauty of Hawaii from a Birds Eye View to Yours :) Thank you for making the time to watch these Beautiful Video's, Mahalo.... I only Hope & Pray you enjoy them :) My way of giving back to Hawaii & very Thankful for being part of Hawaii..... while continuing applying the learning process. Information on this video content: Kailua Beach Park: Ranks as the second most beautiful out of all the Oahu Beaches. Okay…it’s a little unfair to rank Kailua Beach as second best, only because it is literally right next to The most beautiful beach on the island, Lanikai Beach. Kailua Beach Park is located on the easterly shoreline, where the ocean waters are as turquoise blue as it gets, and equally matched with amazingly soft, white powder sand. Many beach goers on the island, rate Kailua Beach Park number one over Lanikai Beach, simply because it is a longer stretch of gorgeous white sand and turquoise blue waters -- two and half miles long to be exact! Kailua Beach Park has actually grown a little larger over the past couple of decades, thanks to many Lanikai real estate beach homes that built sea walls to protect their properties from land erosion. Lanikai Beach Oahu Hawaii: is a destination all unto itself. It is not only described as "most beautiful" of all Oahu beaches, but Lanikai Beach ranks as one of the best beaches in the world. Surrounded by endless miles of calm tranquil aqua blue waters, it’s hard to look at it these special windward ocean waters without getting an urge to jump right in. The word “Lani Kai” translates to “Heavenly Ocean”. It’s such a fitting name for such a beautiful place. Worth a hundreds of pictures...this Lanikai Beach video captures the relaxing pure beauty that this amazing Oahu beach ofers from the good Spirit of Aloha. Finding Lanikai Beach can be a bit tricky, since there are no posted beach signs. You will know that you are in the general vicinity, as “Lanikai” is written on a huge pillar entrance. The pedestrian access is located through beach alley ways between the residential homes. As beautiful as Lanikai Beach Oahu is today, it is unfortunate that the coastal home development of Seawalls has eroded much of the sandy beach, which used to exist. For those of you that are in search of the missing powder sand, look no farther than next door, the beautiful Kailua Beach Park. Nuuanu Pali Lookout, Oahu What: Historical landmark and Scenic Spot with Panoramic views Where: Pali Highway between Honolulu and Kailua Just a five-mile drive northeast of Downtown Honolulu, the Nuuanu Pali Lookout offers panoramic views of the sheer Koolau cliffs and lush Windward Coast. Driving up the Pali Highway through tall trees and dense forests to get to the lookout, you’ll see the city disappear and the tranquil beauty of Hawaii’s natural landscape emerge. Perched over a thousand feet above the Oahu coastline amid mountain peaks shrouded by clouds, the stone terrace overlooks the areas of Kaneohe and Kailua, Mokolii (a pointy island locals call Chinaman’s Hat) and the University of Hawaii’s marine biology research center, Coconut Island. After you’ve soaked in the view, continue through the Pali Tunnels to Windward Oahu. As you near the bottom you’ll face a “tough” decision: go straight to the buzzing beach town of Kailua or turn left through Kaneohe and follow the lush coastline to Haleiwa and Waimea Bay on Oahu’s famed North Shore. The Pali Lookout is a site of deep historical significance. Named “Pali” meaning "cliff" in Hawaiian, the Pali Lookout is the site of the Battle of Nuuanu, where in 1795 King Kamehameha, won the struggle that finally united Oahu under his rule. This fierce battle claimed hundreds of soldiers’ lives, many of which were forced off of the Pali’s sheer cliffs. SHARE our SIMILARITIES, CELEBRATE our DIFFERENCES.....
