Hazmburk • Gothic castle ruins • DJI Mavic Air 2 • 4K
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
AirVuz contributor and pilot Pettys used a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone to create this fantastic aerial video of a semi-ruined castle atop Hazmburk Mountain in the Czech Republic. The mountain and castle are located near the town of Libochovice in the Central Bohemian Uplands, a range of low mountains in the northwestern part of the country. The castle took on much of its form during the 14th century, and it played an important role in the Hussite Wars which raged through the region in the early 15th century.

That morning I was returning from the Ostrý hill, not far from Milešovka, and the thick clouds did not give much hope for any interesting light. I'm go home around my favorite castle Házmburk. And I was lucky. The clouds parted for a moment, and the rays of a strange, yellow light shone directly on the castle. It all took only ten minutes and the sun was definitely hiding. Hazmburk is a far visible ruin of a Gothic castle near the village of Klapý, 3.5 kilometers northwest of the town of Libochovice in the district of Litoměřice. It stands on top of the hill of the same name at an altitude of 429 meters. Filmed with DJI Mavic Air 2
