“The Hiller Aviation Museum, located in San Carlos, California, was opened to the public in 1998. Its showroom features over 50 aircraft from over a century’s worth of aviation history, gathering over 98,000 visitors each year. It was founded by helicopter pioneer and San Francisco native Stanley Hiller Jr., whom, at the age of 15, designed the world’s first successful coaxial helicopter, and produced a working model. His lifelong dedication to innovating aviation gave birth to aircraft of all sorts, from personal flying platforms to ramjet tipped rotorcraft. His legacy continues through members of the Hiller family, as they ensure the museum’s success in captivating the history, as well as leading youth aviation education in the San Francisco Bay Area.” . Many thanks once again to @hiller_aviation_museum for continuing to support the FPV drone community, and being so gracious as to offer their venue for whoop-class races every month in conjunction with @futuresportsmuseum . https://www.hiller.org/ https://www.Futuresports.io/ .
