AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out these drone views of Russia's Lake Ladoga as the Winter begins its transition to Spring, compliments of AirVuz contributor cdrugger. The giant lake has a surface area of just under 18k square km (about 6.8k square mi.), making it the largest lake entirely within Europe and Russia's second-largest after Lake Baikal. The southern tip of the lake is just east of St. Petersburg, while most of its northern portion is part of the Republic of Karelia, one of the oblasts (provinces) of the country's Northwest District.
