AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : AirVuz contributor cdrugger brings us this excellent drone video of St. Petersburg, Russia. Starting at about the 1:12 mark, there are some great shots of the small island Fort Alexander. At about 1:33, you'll see Palace Square, and at about 1:50 there's a great shot of the old Stock Exchange building. At around the 2:49 mark, you'll fly past the great Peter and Paul Fortress, and at the 3:40 mark there's a shot looking towards Lakhta Center from the mouth of the Neva River. The video concludes with views of a fireworks show.

This video is a collection of flights over the city for several years. Although I tried to combine them with one idea - it's more like a clip of beautiful pictures. Some shots have already been in other short videos, but I've been wanting to put together one big video for a long time. And for a long time it did not work out: there was not enough time, skill, computer capacity, there was no mood. I would start putting together a project and come back to it in a month or a few months. I had to do everything practically from scratch. Some of the frames have already been lost. This is the fourth attempt. Soon it will be 2 years since the sky over St. Petersburg is essentially closed with jammers for flights. I absolutely do not want to shoot something for creativity, and not for work. Nerves were not enough before, but now any flight in the center (and not only) is one big problem. Then it was as if it was impossible, but still possible. So let's close that period and start a new one.
