Il Castello di Montecuccolo e il ponte di Olina

The southern parts of the Emilia-Romagna region of north-central Italy sit in the foothills of the Apennine Mountains.  Due to the exposure from potential invasions through the mountains, fortified outposts were built in areas thought to be strategically important for defensive purposes.  One of these is the Castello di Montecuccolo, which you'll see here in this drone video by Luca T.  Located in the Modena province (roughly in the middle of the ER region), the castle features an 11th-century watchtower.
