Start of the way back home: A glimpse at McDermott's Castle on a small island in Lough Key, Boyle Abbey (an unplanned stop), Roscommon Castle (in an authorization zone) to the main sight: Clonmacnoise, a monastic site of great importance from 544 to 1552 on the banks of the River Shannon.

The Rock of Dunamase is well worth a stop as well: castle ruins from the 12th century on a rocky knoll. Cute Brownshill Dolmen with its 150 ton top stone. Ballyloughan Castle from afar and a dip in the Atlantic.

Drones: DJI Mini 3 Pro, iFlight Nazgul Evoque (GoPro 10 and O3), Flywoo Explorer LR 4 O3, additional footage by DJI Osmo Pocket.
