Please enjoy our aerial video from the Kanaalpark Den Bosch, the Netherlands. it was a cloudy day but worth it for the footages we got. A short story about the Kanaalpark Den Bosch Since 2015, an elongated nature reserve, the Kanaalpark, has been located along the Máxima Canal. This landscape park extends from Berlicum to the Maas. The Rosmalense Aa forms the core of the Kanaalpark. This is a completely new stream and forms an ecological connection zone between the Aa (river) and the Maas (big river) over a length of six kilometers. The Rosmalen river (De Rosmalense Aa in Dutch) flows into the new channel through a fish trap. Making streams and rivers freely accessible to fish is an important measure. This is done by, among other things, installing fish steps at locks and weirs and making stream mouths more fish-friendly. A healthy ecosystem contributes to water becoming cleaner. That this is important is evident from the fact that around 6 million people in the west of the country drink purified water from the Maas. The nature park is a habitat for many species of plants and animals. Beaver, kingfisher, and bindweed symbolize the nature reserve.
