Pettelaarse Schans 's-Hertogenbosch | The Netherlands Drone Video - Europe in 4K

Contributor NTG Drones created this beautiful drone's eye view of a fortress in the northern part of the Netherlands.   Pettelaarse Schans is a star-shaped fort (sometimes called a bastion fort) which is situated just south of 's-Hertogenbosch, one of the main cities of the Noord-Brabant region of the country.  Constructed in 1623, the fort was successfully besieged by Dutch forces in 1629, during the latter part of the 80 Years' War in which the Dutch won their independence from Imperial Spain.
